CROWN OF BEAUTY

2025

Resin, industrial-grade primer, and hand-painted acrylic

Dimensions: 20 x 20 x 20 cm

Edition of 9

This body of work explores the societal obsession with competition and the pursuit of idealized beauty—a construct the artist was raised to embrace. It raises a pivotal question: "What defines true beauty?" Is it the aesthetic perfection dictated by tradition, or the raw, inherent truth of natural law?

In "CROWN OF BEAUTY," the artist draws direct inspiration from the "Lumière de l’Infini" crown—a symbol of "infinite light" and eternal glory. By reconstructing "human bones" into these intricate forms, the artist challenges the concept of immortality. The work presents beauty through a starkly different lens: one that does not exist for perfection, but to symbolize impermanence and the ultimate equality of all life.

This collection serves as a mirror, inviting viewers to reflect and question their own definitions of worth and beauty within a world relentlessly driven by the pursuit of being "number one."
